Further to people asking me about derestricting the B.King I am able to offer the following advice.
The Xtre Pro which I fitted on my 08/09 model has definitely made the bike feel sharper and the response off the throttle much more noticeable.Have also reached 178 mph(speedo reading) when in Spain in June this year.
When I fitted it,which I have to say took considerably longer than expected (if you want to make a really nice tidy finish)I took the BK out for a test and was quite disappointed with the feel and performance.I then rang up the dealer who I bought it from asking them about the correct setting,they told me as per the leaflet.Being a persistent old b...... I telephoned the manufacturer in Hungary,spoke to the main man and hey presto was advised that the setting shown in the instructions was incorrect for the BK. Now armed and the setting of NUMBER 4 put into Xtre the bike performed as intended.
The other advantage is that the Pro model has a blue(red also available)digital and INSTANT gear read out without ANY lag as has the Acumen systems(which don't derestrict)the other upside to this because as us BK owners know the throttle cables partly cover the standard dash read out.
