Went to the Wine Country Classics @ Sears Point (Infineon) this weekend.  Some interesting cars but my favorite was this 74 deTomaso Pantera.  Mid-engined, powered by a Ford 351.  This is the car I dreamed of when I was 7 years old.

One even had the original sticker, $12,691.00.  For 1974 that was alot of cash.

really a neat car... I had the fun of working on them in Denver and they are pretty simple but the owners are a royal pain...

We turbo'd one in Scottsdale but the car was undriveable during the summer months.. (AC and HP did not combine well)... Shame there are not more of them running around anymore... I put them in the same class as the Shelby cars when it comes to fun
