Interesting article in the latest Sport Rider about a 99 Blackbird equipped with a $3500 Hahn Racecraft turbo kit. The mag guys liked it. No top speed or 1/4 numbers but it dynoed 220 peak and made 200 hp at 8000 rpm, and 132 ft/lb 7800.

Need to bring Honda into the fracas. Used 99 Blackbird for say $8500 + $3500 for turbo = $12000 tool to get down to the convenience store quicker than busa and zx12.

Just idle speculation.
 
Just bought a 2000, that particular bike in the article belongs to a buddy. He's tried to talk me into it. For me its just too much for the street. So I went a different route which will still get me 165-170rwhp at 440lbs dry. That will hold me over till march just fine. Interestingly enough that XX dynoed at 153rwhp with an arrow exhaust only. Food for thought. They are shipping power commanders with maps for the xx this month. My project should be done by feb. I'll post some pics and charts at the 12 site when completed.
