Do 07 Aftermarket Rearsets fit 08 Busa?????

Guys; I read on a previous post that the 07 rearsets fit the 08 Busa. How true is that??? Anyone tried aftermarket rearsets from Gen I on Gen II busas??? Thanks for your replies...

No. Unless you only use 2 bolts

Yes, but you will only use 2 bolts, which is all my aftermarket rearsets come anyway.

The GenI and GenII Busas both list the same rearsets, at least they do for Vortex.

You may want to check to see that the rear master cylinder is the same though, ask I don't know if those line up on the aftermarket stuff, but I think they do.

Actually I just check the microfiche and the Gen I uses part number 69600-33C00 for the rear master cylinder and the 08-09 uses part number 69600-15H00.

You MAY need to order or find a Gen I rear master cylinder if the bolts don't line up. I know I found a used one for $60 at a motorcycle junk yard, about double that new.

So YES rearsets will fit both Gens but the master cylinder MIGHT not.

I tried something last night that looked really good. I took only the pegs off an 08 GSXR 1000 and put them on my BUSA. I'm going to order 1000 pegs today.
