Do to the ram air effect the neddles should be in the leanest position as possible and I would recommend also going bigger on the piolt jets.
Any one else may add to this :)

Bought Yosh Tri-oval for the Bus. Know about pair valve. but do I need to get like a stage 1 jet kit for bigger needles or will remaping it take care of everything in the FI

yeah, i was wondering about the effect of acceleration on the float bowl fuel level, because according to the manual, the float is positioned front to back

Any advice JC?? :D :D :D :D

Naw, you don't need to shim the needles. Just make sure you drill out the EPA plugs and turn the fuel mixture screws 2 1/2 turns. That worked for me.

Hey JC, you should also pinch off(or cut off and leave unplugged)the air hose that pressurises the float bowls, if not the main jet could suck in extra air and make it run lean ;)

Remap should take care of everything. In doing that you are changing needles, shimming, adjusting, ect; by programming. All controlled by computer.

Well all right... so I should get new needles.? shimming? turbo swirl? EPA plugs? float bowls?air corrector jets?

I'm sorry if these questions are annoying. I'm fairly new to the bike language...

But please any help you give me will be greatly appreciated. (and if anybody asks these questions again I will reply to it so you won't have to.)

THANKS :)

Okay Feet0311 Curious name!!

Its not as simple as that, I'm afraid.
I could explain, But Mr JohnnyCheese is far better qualified, and I would probably omit an important point.

I suggest you await his expert reply

Nuts ;)

In the marines FEET is my nick name 0311 is my M.O.S.

How do I get ahold of johnycheese. went to his website thing couldn't find anything about bikes.

wait JC e-mail me dude..

Feet, ya gotta know... You're getting your chain yanked big time. Your bike is fuel injected; it has no carbs (no needles to shim, no float bowl swirling, no EPA plugs to drill out, none of that stuff).

Just ride it.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

You freakin guys!!!

I was waiting on someone to recommend going to flat slides!!!

Um, Lanta, you CAN get them flat slides for the Busa!!

Over here they are £850 + tax.........
Don't know how much they are in the good old US of A
