I apparently got hacked somehow. I was at an Ace hardware store just a couple days ago so I didn’t think twice about spending two minutes tonight taking a survey for a Dewalt backpack. Tried to pay the $8.97 shipping amount (the backpack was free) and my card Wells Fargo card was refused, why, I don’t know. It’s a valid card. I switched to a Chase card that did go through. I immediately got an email fraud alert from Wella Fargo that my card was being used elsewhere so that card was closed. While speaking with a WF associate I got a fraud alert text from Chase! Responded to it and that card was cancelled.
Thought I’d give everyone a heads up. Ace hardware will be notified in the morning about whatever survey service they’re using so hopefully they can take action themselves. Not very good PR for their company.

In today's techno world the scammers even know your weak spots; mine are tools and electronics.
