Do you need to remove the tail fairing to install a fender delete?

Hey guys, I just bought a rear fender delete kit for my 09 busa and on the instructions ( which are garbage) it says that i have to remove the tail fairing to install the rear fender delete kit. Is this true and if so is it a difficult piece to remove?

I don't think so but I don't know which one you have?

Not that difficult. Just take your time and keep track of your parts.
