Does anyone else chug?

In the low Rpms it seems when I let off the throttle it will lurch forward and when I'm going slow it just kinda chugs. Plus, it makes a very strange noise, which I think is coming from the right side... It's a very slow rotational sounding phft, kinda sound. every second or so at idle.
Throw in a bad sprocket (which I think also makes a noise, awful, soft grinding sound when moving slowly)

Uh let's see,... What else.
Oh yeah, revs drop when I let the clutch out in neutral, so I'm assuming that's a vaccum leak, though I've no idea where to start looking.

So, any help on any of these issues would be fantastic.

:beerchug: <-- Thats the only chugging I know about.

Really though, that does not sound good. I would have your mechanic take a look before you continue riding it if your hearing strange noises....also what year do you have?

New chain & sprockets should help with the noise. The idle drops when you let the clutch out because the computer switches from the zero map (neutral) to the 1st gear map.

Slow rotational sounding chug like you've got a bad-ass cam in your motorcycle  -- just messing. Dude, spend a couple more bucks and/or have a trustworthy mechanic inspect the bike for ya, piece of mind :agree:

HAAAA - HAAAAA !!!!!!!! He said "trustworthy mechanic". If you find one let me know !!! Just kidding, they're out there.

I had a similar issue. It an idle issue. Check for a vaccum leak and if you don't have any then the throttle bodies may need syn'd.
I hope this helps.

Word. I figured that would be the case. Thanks for down to earth advice.

BTW, Pale ale sucks, lol. :)

Okay, so this click-chug sound is only in very low Rps and only when the clutch is disengaged, somehwere around 900rpms. Does that help anyone out in the diagnosis?
