parts arrived from Pingle today and I rushed to put on the dogbones after reading so many examples of how to I thought this will be easy, all was going smooth until the left side dogbone on the bottom is mhitting the bracket that the underside body panel mounts to... any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Don't have first-hand experience, yet. (I'm getting ready to order the 'bones).

But I've read some other posts that, depending on which lowering hole you use, you may need to grind some of the 'bone off to make it clear.

HTH...

Finally got it, it is amazing how I can make such simple things difficult... anyways got the bones in, used the center holes and the she swallowed up the back tire, looks awesome, feels awesome sitting on it, cannot wait to drop the front tomorrow....

you can't use the shortest hole without grinding off of some of the bone. I had to on mine to run at stock height once. I haven't ran it there since. I really need to get some fully adjustables.

when i put the bones on mine i was like WOW supposed to be 2" drop well tire went up into rear section......now its time for a kickstand mod b4 front gets lowered 1"..but i noticed the belly wing will scrape in some dips and speed bumps...might have to make a smooth straight one...

I went 2 all the way around with the adjustable kick stand.

Dont forget to stiffen to suspension to keep you from bottoming out on the street.

be careful, my buddy had to replace his oil pan and exhaust in december because he was riding around lowered to the 3rd hole on the dog bones and hit a bump in the road. It looked great all the way until it was parked on the side of the HWY out of oil. I love my bike lowered and wouldn't ever go back to stock height but you have to get used to it and know that you don't have near as much clearance as you once did.

What's the handling like lowered? From what people say, it will obviously bottom out sometimes...

I'm sure it feels and looks cooler lowered, though.

i'm lowered around 3" and i can tell the difference but since i'm not the greatest rider in the world it's not that big of a difference for me.

You cannot lay it over as far with it being lowered but it sure looks sweet, helps keep the front end down at the track too... here is a pic...
