Hey guys has anyone expiremented with running a drag seat and if so does it lower your ET any since it lowers your seat height approx. 3" from stock.

Thanks

I GAINED A TENTH IN THE 1/8TH MILE, BUT IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN AIR SHIFTER YOU MIGHT LOSE TIME TRYING TO GET YOUR FEET ON THE PEGS.

GOLDEN CHILD HAS SOME REAL NICE LOOKING SEATS FOR CHEAP. BEST DOLLARVS.E.T. YOU CAN SPEND.

I'll get back to you on this one. Just have to put my bike back together and I will be trying the seat out. From all aspects it should help with launching. Lower center of gravity..etc..etc

Thanks guys for the info. Hey Cabuss, please let me know your results. I'm 6' and kind concerned about being able to get my feet back in place from that low of an angle, but it sure seems to make sense with the lower center of gravity.

At 280 lbs...Strap, 16t sprocket, lower seat, I'll try anything...LOL...At least they cant hurt..
BTW...dont get a drag seat unless you dont mind full passes with legs down, There is no way to get feet on pegs at speeds safely with this seat....

I have the Catalyst Carbon fiber drag seat and I didn't pick up much ET with it but it was money well spent because you set much better on the bike. I don't have a problem getting my feet back up to shift with it either but then again I'm only 5'6".

Eric, that's cuz you got tree stumps for legs, lol.

I have a Catalyst seat on my 12. I don't know if I picked up anything, but it definitely keeps me planted firmly on the bike instead of sliding into the back seat (or hump in you guy's case)... and the less you move around, the faster you'll go.
