Heading out at the butt crack of dawn on the 8th. Be down there a week just in case anyone here ends up there. Got my new road 6 tires mounted and plan on putting them to the test. This year I added an insta360 and If I can pack it, a drone for some cool sunset shots on the skyway.. Should come back with some good video and pics I think. Hopefully the weather will hold out. Stay safe out there.

I'm planning to be on the area also on that weekend, maybe I'll see you around.

DId you install the 360 with the invisible stick? If so, Where did you mounted yours?

Check the photo contest before you leave. How far are you from the dragon?

380 miles straight up I75. I remember now why I dont really like leaving in September. Its gonna be 46 degrees in the morning when I leave at 6. Should be a nice week though otherwise. If I make the entire trip without rain it will be a first.

Get a set of Frogg Toggs. I rode a full day in the rain on the last day of a tour, from the OR border to home, about 400+ miles. Frogg Toggs kept me dry.

Frogg Toggs are great. Used them the last time I was at the Dragon riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. Didn't enjoy the rain, but was dry when we finished up the ride.
