Dual Fuel Pumps

Non Techy asking a question probably a dumb one.

Does anyone use or it even possible to run two fuel pumps? I read here how quite a few members have lost there motors due to drop in fuel pressure. Back in the day we used to run dual fuel pumps with pressure regulators to make sure we never run lean or loose a race cause of a fuel pump or pressure loss in the old hot rod.

Find out more info about each failure,......and you will probably find that the "single" fuel pump was not the COMPLETE reason for the failure. There are pumps available that will support 800+ horsepower. I support the idea of overkill when it comes to the fuel system,.......especially when a turbo is involved!!
