I've had these tires on my bike for over a year and at almost 13000 miles they have worn through to the bottom layer of rubber in the very center. Heading to cycle gear tomorrow for a new tire but I am torn on keeping the same kind of tire.
1. Plenty of grip in the turns for my riding style.
2. When I got on it hard on uneven or bumpy road surfaces it would sometimes break loose at the very top of the rev range. First time it happened, it surprised me and took away some of my confidence in the tire in all situations
3. Worked well in the rain.
I got 8000 miles out of the stock tire and about the same on my Q2. Not sure I want to trade traction for 4000 miles.
May come down to what's on sale. I may retry the BT023 which I only got 1000 miles out of due to a mail just for giggles.
