dynojet ignition module

I have a 08 busa an i just got an ign module installed but it wasnt activated i got the wires 2 activate it but im not sure what will happen or it will need 2 be programed immediately my mechanic is in the hosp. so i dont know if i can get it programmed but i want 2 use it so any advice would help thanks adamwoodham

I dont think it has to be activated persay, I think that is all controled and mapped through the PC. That is just my opinion. You can get oin the dynojet website and either call or email them. Or call the place you got it from.

I just bought one too. It comes with no map installed so you can plug it in and it still reads the base map from your ECM, till you get it programmed/tuned.

Why did you buy an ignition module for your bike? "To change my ignition timing" is not a good answer.

make sure you follow the directions precisely. you basicaly have to sink up the powercommander with the ignition box before using. Make sure you follow the step by step instructions.

Just got some new info, actually as long as the PCIII has the newest firmware(dont remember exactly which one) installed on it, you just install the wiring harnes in correct positions and then after all is complete, hook up to PCIII and will operate together. Got the info from a friend that works on them, just pm me for more info if you need!

Just for curosity purposes, why did you guys buy the Ig module?

It will show that it is set to 0 because unless your timeing is retarded or advanced it will read stock 0. Also, would show zero non the less, unless you are running NOS or turbo, where the ignition would be retarded some at higher RPM's.
