Economic Stimulus Package makes 2009 a great time to buy a new motorcycle!

On February 17th President Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Included in the act are great incentives for anyone considering the purchase of a new motorcycle or scooter!

• Receive a federal income tax credit for state sales and excise tax paid on the purchase of any new on-road motorcycle or scooter.
  
• All makes and models of licensed on-road motorcycles and scooters are eligible.
  
• Minnesota state sales tax on motorcycles and scooters is 6.5%
  
• Certain exclusions apply based on your income level. Consult with a tax professional to determine if you qualify for the federal income tax credit.
