ECU, CDI Problems

Hi there!
I have a 1999 Busa , and recently have left it in a warehouse where somebody has stolen the ECU , CDI unit .I am looking on the internet to buy a new one. My question is if a 2006 model of ECU with serial number 32920-24Fk0 will fit my 1999 model? Any one knows about it?
The seller is pretty confident about it!

For plug and play, you will need a 1999 or 2000 model ECU. The 2006 ECU is a 32 bit and will interchange from 2002-2007.

You would have to change everything for the 06 to work, including the throttle bodies, flywheel!
It can be done but gets expensive!
