Ecu connector Extension

I am looking at getting a OEM harness extended to mount my Megasquirt ECU in the hump
Would it be better to have a extension harness made? or extend the OEM one?

Neater, more reliable, easier fault tracing, reversible.

Long story short
I have two Megasquirt PNP setups
Box is larger than factory ECU so it does not fit under the seat well
Would love to move it to under the hump

Technically yes we could use my ecu adapter box, then a harness extension to plug into it, price wise may not be worth it for you, for me to build the harness, and 2 parts of ecu connectors, plus the box tee is a fair bit of cost involved. Where it would be more applicable is of you had a new megasquirt that wasn't the PnP version and wanted to wire it into the stock wiring.

I just gutted my entire wiring off my bike and wired it alone
