EEC upgrade possible?

Hey guys

I didn't want to post a question unless I looked all over the internet first but I had no luck so far. I got an 06 about 3 months ago and am riding it this winter. However I found out the heated gear is a little too much for the bike's electric output to charge the battery at the same time. Is there a way to upgrade the bike's electrical charging system so it has more left over for electrical devices and doesn't drain the battery? Thanks beforehand.

Yeah, i'm new to the bike world and am already asking unusual questions =(
I'm so hooked on this bike i'm ignoring my car this winter. Unfortunately this bike has a low EEC which I find it hard to believe. Harleys have much higher charging systems. This website gives it a 1 1/2 star.

You can either get an upgrade stator for more onboard power or run a second battery for more lasting power.

I'd prefer an upgrade to the power as opposed to the additional battery which will also drain in a few minutes anyway.

what gear are you using?

I use a heated vest and gloves and my gixxer handles it just fine.

Tourmaster electric Vest and Chaps. If I were to add gloves it would drain even quicker.
