****efi busa on-- --NITROUS!!!!!****

theres a big differance between the 750 & 1300.
the ecm on the 1300 is totaly differant.
you can't do the samething as on the 750.

on the 750 they use a crank trigger to do what they need to.
the busa is a hole differant setup.

brock & i talked for awhile when it was raining at prostar on the friday in indy.
i've talked to quite a few people on this subject but theres only one that i've spoken with that might be getting somewhere on it at this point.
believe it or not but that person is turbo rick. he's out in cal if i remember right.
i've had some not so nice run in's with him lately but he does know his stuff and has cotributed to alot of other things in the past. even though we've had our moments, i still have a certain amount of respect for him.

i know there are guy's out there that have the ablity to figure this efi/nos thing out but it's just going to take time.

i figure after this winter every question that anybody has about the busa will be awnserd.

I hope somebody figures it out soon, I'm even having Terry include a Nitrous bottle holder on the swingarm.
 
I BELIEVE IT TO BE NOT TO HARD.I'M IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING AN AFTERMARKET FUEL SYSTEM.IT IS DESIGN TO PRODUCE 350HP IF THE MOTOR MODS CALL FOR IT.I HAVE EXT.REGULATOR WITH 3-PORT RETURN STYLE,WHICH I'LL HAVE EXTRA PORT TO SEND TO ANOTHER REGULATOR FOR N2O.THIS WAY W/2 FILTERS ONE A 40 MICRON BEFORE THE PUMP AND A 5 MICRON AFTER,THE PUMP IS 60FI MALLORY AS WITH EVERYTHING ELSE,I ALSO CHECK WITH MALLORY FOR WHAT I WAS DOING AND IT WAS FINE.BIGGEST THING WOULD BE TIMING,IF DYNOJET CAN CHANGE IGNITION TIMING WITH THE COMMANDER II,THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETARD SO MANY DEGREES FOR DIFFERNT POWER LEVELS 20,36,50,75,100,ETC.ROUGHLY ANYWAY

I spoke to Nitrous Express yesterday and they told me DO NOT INSTALL NOS ON A BUSA!!!
The three bikes they did it on SEPERATED the F***ing gas tank from the frame and BLEW the rider OFF the bike.
They are working on a solution right now.
I can't talk for all the member of Hayabusa.org but I'm going to wait!
 
does ANYONE know of ANYBODY using nos on a fuel injected busa?

are they using it through the head, boots or v-stacks?
don't tell me about spraying through the airbox...please. thanks..frank
 
i think those guy's were trying to spray through the airbox...bad ideal!
when the busa hits the rev limiter it shuts the fuel off. when that happens it gets pure nos. that will surely melt down any motor!..

TTS in England (same as for the JE bigbore) built themselves a nitrous 'Busa to get past 200mph but they dumped the FI and used FCR flatslides because of problems. Might give their Richard Albans a ring to inquire?
 
Does anyone know what carbs people are using on the busa. I do not think there is a set of carbs specifficaly made for the Busa. I have a set of 41mm Keheins off of a 98ZX-11 are these the carbs that are being used on the Busas?

there are some guy's that
are using those carbs on
thier busa.

since the ones you have
are downdraft you may be
able to use them on your
bike. but i'm sure you'll
have to re-rack them to
fit the busa though.

i had planned to use those
also but i'm going to use
a set of 44 megatrons when
it comes time to hook up
the nos.

my bike is ready to accecpt that product now.

my plans are to go to gainesville fla.(prostar) with nos.
i'd like to go there with nos/efi...

And do they make them for any other FI Suzukis - namely the TL1000R?? I would love a 180 crank hp twin!! Serious.
 
No price yet Nitrous express won't even have a parts list from me untill I am satisfied with the results.
I just wanted to let you guys know that someone is working on the nos problem on efi bikes.
I haven't even worked on a TL so I really couldn't tell you if it would work on it.
I don't know if Nitrous Express will supply the mods or if they will just supply documentation on what mods to do.

40HP shot on a EFI BUSA and all is working fine after many mods. I did about 40 dyno pulls at 200hp. The system will be sold from Nitrous Express in about a month or two.
