Going to race this weekend in the Mojave desert. Here's a quick bike status:

2006 Busa Limited - "Old Number Seven"
The ol' girl is really coming together. I made my own A/F gauge using the speedometer as an indicator so I'm production class legal (no aftermarket gauges). Now I'll be able to monitor A/F at top speed. I also went down another tooth on the rear sprocket to a 17/38 combo. Hoping to bump the rpm's down into the torque curve instead of trying to eek more rpm's out of her all the time. She's ready to rock!

2008 Hayabusa - still gotta earn it's name
The bike is at Heads Up Performance in La Verne being setup for the attack. From talking to Scott, it sounds like things are coming together and I'm hoping we'll get to run the bike this weekend!

be safe and good luck! keep a good tuck!

We are back from El Mirage and had a great time. We set a personal best for the 1.3mile track at 190.3MPH

last month when we got first place we ran 188.4MPH so I'm really happy with the improvement.

Pat Womack came in carrying a BIG STICK and layed down a 197.8MPH on his production class Busa!!! HOLY COW!!!

I watched him go by from the pits and we could tell it was gonna be a big number. We were all cheering "GO PAT GO PAT!!!". My wife said "he's all Ninja'd out on that thing...you can't even see him!". We were talking about his run all the way home.

This is the thing I enjoy most about LSR - the camraderie. You race against folks and then you break bread with them. It's a wonderful thing.

Here's a shot of me and Pat in the staging lanes after his BIG RUN. (dang I still am amazed!)

Ninja'd out!!! I swear the LSR wives come up with the most colorful descriptors for our sport!
I like that, I'm going to have to borrow that!!!

Good going on the speed increase! You're at the place in the game where it's going to one mph at a time!
