Does anyone know how many watts the stator on a 04 Busa puts out, since I bought the Busa I can't wait to ride it,my Vulcan Nomad is giving me dirty looks when I go by it. I have Gerbings jacket liner 77watts, gloves 22watts and socks on rare single number days.

I'm running the same accessories and with a few more item with no problems.
The Busa put out 400 to 500 watts max at 5k RPM, check out the online manual hosted here to be sure. Also, when you're at a stop light or sitting turn you heated gear control switch off or to a low setting. The Alt/Gen maintains your battery when rpm's are above 2k RPM's anything below (idle) and your taking chances on draing your battery, especially in a lot of stop n go traffic.

Online shop manual can be downloaded from here. Also, to help conserve energy you should switch to using a HID light. It's brigher light and consumes 20 watts less than the stock halogen light bulb. There's quite a few member here including myself that have done this mod, use the search key to find where and how to install it (HID)
