I have the PMR handle bar switch which is single pole single throw.

I want to use it to switch between horn and air shifter which requires a single pole double throw switch to do it.

Flick it one way you have a horn, flick it the other way you have air.

Any input on how to convert a spst to a spdt switch using relays available?

could I use a 5 pin relay and take the output of 87a to one of them and 87 to the other?

Get 2 relays: 1 normally closed and one normally open. When you power one it will turn on and the other will thun off. When the switch is off it is reversed. May be cheaper to just go to radio shack and buy a double pole/double throw switch.

should have read your whole post first. i think your way will work since 87 and 87a are the norm. open and norm. closed i was talking about

Have you though about calling PMR. He has spdt and dpdt and momentary switches. I talked to him about it when I bought my kill switch. I'm not sure how much of a problem it is to retro fit it however. He said he would build it with my choice of switches when I got ready to order one. I was thinking about using it for a cruise control.

Cant get them to answer the dog gone phone! or return an email. It's not racing season anywhere is it?
