Emailed power commander tech support

I have a 2005 LE. I bought Guinevere used and she has Muzzy CF bolts, a K&N and a PCIIIUSB. The PC website does not have that combo listed as an available map. I loaded the Hindle bolt-on with K&N or stock map and the bike is running fine. I posted the question here and someone suggested emailing PC tech support. I did. They recommended that I load map M216-005. That is a map for a 2004-2005 ZX-12R with Muzzy bolt-ons and a stock or aftermarket air filter. I am waiting on the reply.

Does anyone have any idea why they might have told me to load a Kawasaki Map?

Do the mods for the kaw reflect your mods? It couldnt hurt to try it,you can always reload the present map if you dont like it,the thing is : Fuel tables are fuel tables so it might be ok,give it a whirl,if its not positive,reload your present map unti you can find a better map or have it dynoed.

Yes the mods of the Kawi map are the same as mine. I will try the map this afternoon. Not riding today it is raining. I did print both maps out and the Kawi map as the bike running a lot more rich across the board. I will let you guys know how it runs and the response I get from PC Tech. Have great day.

LOL, agreed if you HAVE to be one or the other. Rich is always better, easier on the pistons too.

If it runs well..Keep it..

No harm to email tech support and ask them to explain..I found them very helpful..

I had a few issues with removing the O2 sensor and they explained it to me.. Helpfull folk..

No prob bigdr, kinda kewl how the world is a circle. I should get a reply from PC Tech today about why that map. Will load it tonight and let you know how she runs.

Got an answer back from PC tech support. He said that he looked up the wrong bike and that I should run map M312-005. I think that is in the one that I have loaded. Doesn't really matter, she runs like a stipped a$$ed ape right now. Thanks for your help.
