Regrets? I've got a few....but I'll be fine in 09! HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! Tomorrow is supposed to be 62 and partly sunny so I'm probably going for a ride somewhere, NOT in the shade! Maybe hiway 25...Anyone else?

I am ready to say goodbye to 2008 and ring in 2009.

I hear ya! Lost a brother and I'm about to lose another. I used to have four!
Hopefully 2009 is better than 2008 for everyone !!

Oh my goodness. I see all the financial trouble in the world today but your statement makes it all so meaningless. I'm so sorry, CBX. I've always enjoyed your posts and great attitude. All I can offer is a cyber hug and wishes, and moral support if you ever need.

2008 is a leap year...it will take away all the troubles and misfortunes
I've had a good year in hard times. I'm not going to complain as, it's really just a marker on the road map to the end. The years seem to stack up too fast and my thought is no matter how bad I think I have it, it could be an awful lot worse.
Another year passed is a double edged sword. Get to see the kids grow up and develop into adults, yet also become aware of our edlers becomming aged and frail. We are blessed with new additions to the family as others pass on.
I'll take the lessons learned in 2008 and put them to good use in 2009. Take the lumps the past year has given me, leave them in the past and move on. Look to the next year, expecting a few more, but be determined to enjoy every moment possible. It won't last forever as we all well know.

. Count your blessings.2008 brought on many hard times. The Hardest for me was a Divorce. However there where fruits of the pain. It brought me closer to the Lord, he let me lean on him in times of pain. In 2009 I have happiness already. The Lord has brought me a friend, How much of the friend I get, is still left up to the Lord. The New year has nothing but possibilities for me. I am very happy right now :colgate:
