Local IHRA track in New England requires "All nitrous assisted motorcycles, regardless of elapsed time, shall be required to install an approved Engine Containment System on their vehicle"

I have and 08 that I want to start spraying once chassis is sorted out. What clever methods have folks come up with for containment, or are there products out there for this. I am aware of blankets, but they don't work on the street. Catalyst makes a one piece lower, but requires all new bodywork. Does someone make a pan that slips in??

I guess the key is "approved Engine Containment System" if non are approved then you're fine the way you are

You may want to call the track and ask tech exactly what they're looking for in order for whatever it is to be "approved".
Does the body work need to be able to contain a certain amount of spilled oil?
Would a fabbed belly pan be acceptable?
What about an endgine blanket/diaper? (this may be your easiest solution since you can just unstrap and remove it from the bike for street duties)

The track will accept diapers, or pans that contain 4 quarts of oil. Both are difficult to implement without a sidewinder. Standard alien head pipe or equivilent makes the diaper dangerous for fire, and the pan non-practicle. The track is pretty open on design. Its implementation thats difficult. Looking for others who have run into this before.

D.R.E. makes a excellent engine diaper NHRA approved. Not sure how it will fit on a street bike. Mine covers the engine and trans case. I am running the stock header. Blanket slips in above the header.. These are generic for a 4 cylinder so not an exact fit but close, about 150.00
