Engine Oil Help

Ive always used AMSOIL in my old bike and my cars. I just bought an 03 Busa with 12k miles. I have no idea what oil was in it to begin with but i wanted to change it . Am i safe to go ahead with AMSOIL? I bought the bike from a dealer so i have no way of contacting the previous owner of the bike. Thanks in advance

Personally, I use mobile 1 synthetic 4 cyl only. It's about 12 bucks a quart at the parts store.

I work at a parts store so i get amsoil pretty cheap. My only concern was not knowing what was previously in it. Thanks a lot guys!

Does not matter what was previously used...it's all compatible nowadays

10w-40 is what it takes, but I prefer

The Mobil Cycle 10w40 is $7.99 At Wal-Mart............!

and Amsoil is only $8.99 For the Cycle Oil locally at Murray's Auto




it's all compatible nowadays .......................so get it in there!

I would like Amsoil but it hard to get. and it a scam trying to get it directly from them
$11.09 a qt plus shipping put it well over $14 per qt. The way they distribute it sucks

I get Amsoil MCF for $33 a gallon.....filters for about $12 (EAoM)...where are you buying from ????........

We are running Elf Moto 4XT Tech in our Busa engined race car. It's full synthetic that we buy from Performance Oil Store (www.PerformanceOilStore.com). Swithced from Silkolene about a year ago with great results.
