Or, in this case returning for refund?

Ibanez makes very nice Musical Instruments as well as Yamaha and others.

In 2003 Ibanez came out with the RKB 900. It had everything. Beautiful finish (other color was black), Bass Line pickups, badazz bridge, ultra light tuners, the right wood and a wonderful neck. (this neck is really nice) Playability is that of higher end Bass guitars.

Well, sure enough they were closing them out toward the end of 2003. No longer manufactured. What? One year?

I quickly bought one for half off. Should of bought one in each color.

About that same time I bought my Busa. Well, you know how modding goes huh? I returned it. A couple of years go by and I am still regretting doing that. Yeah, :banghead:

I decided to keep an eye on eBay, but not really seriously for the better part of a year. Maybe longer.

Most I saw were beat up, scratched, nicked and the wrong color. Low and behold one came up on eBay. Right condition (vg+), right color and completely stock. I paid a couple of hundred more than in 2003 but the BIN was quickly hit.

It arrives tomorrow and will never leave my house again.

Unless? I pass on.

I have instructed Jailbait that in the event of my untimely death I wish this to go to Sambusa. The reasons are simple.

1) He will cherish it.

2) He will never sell it. :poke:

3) He will never play it.

Just one thing Sam. Guitars are like women. You need to keep them in tune.

I will rest peacefully knowing you can. I'm just sayin..

I had a 1989 Volkswagen Jetta GLI 16v back in 2001. I bought the car for like $300 running. All it needed was a heater core and a right front fender. I loved that car and i hated to part with it. One day on the way home from work, the tranny started grinding like heck. I made it home. I was told that it was shot. I could have bought a tranny for $100 bucks but I reniged on that deal due to sheer ignorance. I sold the car and I have missed it ever since.:banghead:

I had a Breedlove Acoustic Fretless 5-String bass. I wish I still did, made playing in my living room so much more fun :(

Many many seasons of suns ago, I had a classic Winchester Model 94 in 30-30. Loved that rifle.

Then, unemployment hit and lasted entirely too long. I had to sell the rifle just to put food on the table. It got us through the last little stretch of that season of difficulty but I've often thought about what the rifle would be worth today.

Still, some things do take precedence over material things. I'm in the fortunate position of having a lot of good credit and could easily "buy" a lot of things. It just ain't worth it, though. My Busa and the Gixxer are very close to my heart. But I'd sell them both (and everything else I own) in a microsecond if it meant survival.

A 1953 F100 with flathead V8 with V8 chrome grill. Bad move, hard times to blame.

Is this some kind of a sick joke? You know full well I'm gonna die before you:moon:
