i just put the low exit megaphone exhaust on my 01 "the full system" theirs no airbox mod or p c, when i rev it up it fine but when i let off the throttel and the rpms drop it pop s anybody no y ????? thanks

The marble mod is a cheap way to block off the PAIR system. Use a marble in the air line going from the airbox to the PAIR valve. This mod is done with an aftermarket exhaust to eliminate the popping sound on deceleration.

you can use the stuff you pull out of your bath tub drain it seems to have plugged up my bath tub real well...LOL no just plug the hole and put the hose back on this is all you need to do! what you use is really pointless as long as it works

It is easy. If you don't have a marble laying around, (I did not) you can bust open an empty spray paint can and get the marble out of there.

Or you can just completly remove the whole system in about an hour and save 2 pounds and add 2hp and you will have more room to work with for future mods. Oh and :welcome: to the board

The removal of the pair system DOES NOT add any HP

I did a full system on mine as well. The pair system is a factory trick to dilute the exhaust fumes so it passes emissions tests. It needs to be blocked when you put a full exhaust on it to avoid the disruption. I've seen loctite'd screws in place of the blockoff plate used as well. Once this is done there's no going back though.

The power commander adjustment is always a must IMHO to ensure it's running at an optimum. You'll be onto an airbox mod soon. Your system now allows a lot more air to exit but the input in the airbox is still the same size.

Good luck!
