EXhaust Question

What's up guys...

Got a quick question. I have a HMF high mount exhaust 4-2-1 and plan on one day to get a new exhaust. My question is can I put a slip on on it (the HMF IS a slip on) and if I can how do I determine which "can" I just can slip on without having to replace my pipes etc. I guess what I am asking can you ever just take one can off and put on another?
