Exhaust Restrictions

I was at a local dealership in Fort Oglethope, GA (ten miles from downtown Chattanooga) yesterday and they told me that Suzuki had instructed them not to install aftermarket exhausts on any Suzukis and the the state of Tennessee had instructed them to not install aftermarket exhausts on any motorcycles registered in Tennessee

I didn't ask, but I suspect my Yoshis may have voided my extended warranty on the Busa

I doubt it. Try a different dealership if they say it does. If all else fails, put the stock exhaust back on for repairs.

Out here in Cali. some dealers won't install aftermarket exhausts if they don't meet fed/state emissions requirements.. I don't think it has anything to do with your warranty..

No it has to do with emissions, but I am going to read the fine print on my warranty

I don't think I will change back to the stockers though.

Don't quote me on this but...

I don't think ANY aftermarket exhaust is legal to use in the USA. That is why every system you buy says "FOR OFFROAD USE ONLY" right on the box.

Don, just put the stock cans back on each time you take the bike in, it doesnt take that long and there will be no questions. OR, just ask Terrell and he will probably tell you, since you help keep him in business.

he needs to be giving us a commission for outside sales.
