Exhaust system ?

Out of these four Systems.Muzzy,Yosh,Akrao
and Ti fource. Running a Pc2 and Bmc air filter also. Wich one of these systems makes
the most horse power and the best torque
curve in low end an midrange.Top two just to
give my self a choice.

Come on guys i am looking for some answers here ! I am going to order a pipe this week
for my Busa along with a few other parts.

One thing that you guys might want to know. We have installed a lot of different and repeat installations of a bunch of different pipes and the fairing cutting that a lot of you are referring to I suspect is with regard to the Ti Force. Try this...it works!... On the 2000 model year, there is a fairing bracket that spans across the bottomn front of the header...1999's don't have it. We take this bracket and during the installation of the pipe, make it wider by cutting it in half and adding approximately 1.125 in length to it. Then we take some asbestos heatwrap and glue it into the inside of the fairing in the area where the pipe gest close to the fairing. This does make for a bit of misalignment at the very most lower portion of the fairing down at the bottom where they come together but without someone telling you it was there...you wouldn't notice. On the 1999's we just space the fairing out with thicker spacers behind where the fairing connects to the bike on the right side and apply the wrap the same way. He have had no "burn throughs" and have not had to trim anyones fairings yet. Hope this helps. Freddie/ECP

I know have the informatiom i wanted and going to stick with my first choice,Muzzy.
I have been gathering information over the
past month to put togehter a package that i
beleave will work real good. A old freind
and i are going to do all the work on my
Busa. Then she is going to see Supertuner
for the fine tuneing of the motor. We have
talked already and i like the results he
has gotten,Freddie knows his s**t !

Speeder T, I have something to add. Taking all these pipes together,my opinion is Rob Muzzy's Full Ti system IS the most bang for buck. Rob's been making SERIOUS horsepower for a long time. AND high quality exhaust systems. But all mentioned are fine pipes. All mentioned are VERY expensive. Remember what Supertuner said? He has tuning programs in place for ALL these pipes[not the Sato, yet] so pick the one that appeals to you the most and know you can get help making your bike run just fine with whichever you choose.

I LIKE THE FULL TI MUZZY $850AND LIGHT!THE TIFORCE IS NICE BUT ITS ON THE BODY ALL OVER THE PLECE.THE AKRO IS REAL NICE AND REAL NICE AND EXPENSIVE.

Toddddd!!!! Multiple leaking pipes? Geesh! I like my Akrapovic. Quality piece I think. I wonder why almost every World Superbike Team uses Akrapovic. Because they leak? I know what you'll say. "because they come apart easy". Well, maybe your right. Wonder how nice that Ackra would be if a guy had a friend who is an unbelievable welder. One who sits in the same spot every day welding thin little heat resistant pieces together for NASA? And this friend tacked the multiple leaking pipes together, then removed the pipe and expertly welded all those leaking areas together. [He's really good, also makes TRICK bicycles out of exotic materials.] I know,I know, I'd have the same thing I could've paid less for if I bought the Muzzy! My Akra's real nice though, and kinda unique.

All of the Top 4 exhaust systems are within 1 or 2 horsepower of each other with the Akrapovic system comin out on top.The Yosh and Muzzy are the loudest. The Akrapovic has a softer sounds and is not as loud as the others. The Sato is also an excellent system for the Busa.the Muzzy is the cheapest of the 4 exhaust systems.I think the Sato and Yosh are just about the same price,The Sato is a little more pricey than the Yosh. The Akrapovic is the most expensive. Some guys like loud pipes, they think the louder the pipe, the more horsepower it gives.

Hehheee.....yep, Akro it is.

But seriously, I'm not brand loyal.

Akro doesn't make the most HP because I own it, I own it cause it makes the most HP.

The HP differences are so small though between the top brands , that it comes down to Price, looks and fit. I dont know about Muzzy and Sato, but Akro fit much better on my bike than Ti-Force did. I had a Ti-Force pipe on my bike first and it required minor fairing trimming and two spacers to get it to fit right without melting panels. The Akro required nothing, perfect fit.

The other reason I bought the Akro was because Kevin Blais from Blais cycle promised me that if the pipe didnt make good HP numbers, he'd take it back, no charge.

Cant beat that.

WARBIRD i am about an hour away from Freddie wich is very cool for me. He has the same
view in going after horse power as i do besides being a good person. Muzzy just has
a good price for a well built system that
everyone can afford. I had considered the
Yosh at the start but that is what every
one else goes for on there Susuki,i want to
be different.

I went with the Akro with Titanium canister. PERFECT fit, no trimming, bumping or shaking required for good fitment. The welds and overall craftmanship are, well, the best Ive seen. The sound? Exactly what I wanted. Softer but very sporty and when its opened up its MORE than loud enough. Maintanence? They recomend wiping it down with WD-40. One of the engineers has e-mailed me 5 times answering ANY question I had. Overall the best experience with any manufacture Ive ever had.

Oh yeah, power? My bike runs smooth as stock and has gobs of power. We experimented with the PC2 and the stock ecm, running with the 006 map then unplugging the PC2 back to back. It runs just GREAT with out the PC2 also.. That means you can get the pipe first if funds are a concern and be totaly satisfied. AND from the canister forward is stainless steel meaning you can have it HPC coated inside and out to dramaticlly reduce heat. This eliminates wrapping your pipes and is darn near indesructable. Busa 2 has done this. Ask him about the heat reduction. Good luck in your choice!

Speeder, your typing skills are fine. Good choice on your pipe. And your technician. I do have a lot[of money] in my Akrapovic, but I sure like it. I really like quiet so for me its fine. And my friend made it real nice with his added touches. [he's REALLY good at welding]. It's extra quiet now it seems like. Let me know about your install and taking it to Freddie. You will need block off plates, oil, filter, antifreeze and I used NEW Suzuki pair and exhaust gaskets. I also used a 0-250 inch pound quarter inch drive torque wrench to torque EVERYTHING just right. For piece of mind.

Oil drain plug-16.5 foot pounds/198 inch pounds.
PAIR pipe nuts-7 foot pounds/84 inch pounds.
Exhaust pipe bolt-16.5 foot pounds/198 inch pounds.
Oil hose union bolt-14.5 foot pounds/174 inch pounds.

Hope that helps a little.

WARBIRD
