My bike has a vibration in it from the two brothers. I just ride mostly on trips and around town and i just don't like the vibe from them. I have looked at everything on the bike to make sure it wasn't hitting anything that might cause it and it's not. I talked to a few people that have them and they tell me theirs does the same thing. I just want it to be smooth like it was when i bought it but i don't like the look of the stock exhaust which i still have. I will sell the one's i have. they only have 2000 miles on them and are perfect. My friend has an 05 busa and i love the look of his exhaust and want to make sure they will work first if i can find some. Do you know if they will work without changing anything? With my motor being a little bigger will i have to do anything to it if i do find some? Thanks, Doug
I have the slip/ons. That is what i am looking for a pair of gen 1 mufflers but i don't think they will just bolt on to the 2B pipes. If i recall right the stock pipes have a 3 bolt pattern where my 2B have a 4 bolt pattern. I looked on eBay and found some and i am going to call Tuesday when they open. Thanks for the suggestion, DougDo you have a full system or slip ons why don't you just find a pair of gen 1 mufflers and put them on in place of the 2-brothers and see if that stops it instead of replacing the whole system, May be the better of both worlds larger header tubes and quieter smoother pipes = more flow less vibes and noise.
