New to the forum,
Just bought an 09 bonestock Busa. I know this has been discussed a lot. I want to buy some slip on pipes for the current 4 into 2 exhaust. If I do...do I need to change jetting or any programming?
Thanks,
Brad

:welcome: to the Org
If you go to Slip On's you won't need anything , Just put them on and ride .

There is also no jetting/carbs. It's got 4 throttle bodies that are computer controlled. Check out www.boostbysmith.com the ECU Editor, best thing to tune a Busa with.
You may also be interested in a universal stainless steel header from Vance&Hines, it's $450 and works with any aftermarket mufflers as well as the stockers. It'll give you a little more power as well as get rid of the catalytic converter(which is built into the stock header)that thing will cook your feet in summer.
A full exhaust also does not NEED a tune(base fuel map or dyno tuned custom map)your bike will run safely without it, and still probably better than stock. However a base fuel map will be an improvement, and a dyno tune by a good tuner will make the bike perform at it's best.
Alot of folks run Power Commanders for fuel maps, which are fine. PC's can only map fuel, and only 4 of the Busa's 8 injectors. The aboved mentioned ECU Editor does countless things, check it out.
Everything Busa you need to know is here somewhere.:beerchug:
