i just bought an 04 busa and my ? is i've seen on this site people with exhaust that comes straight down and out of the bottom of the fairings by their feet, how does that work,is it really loud, is it legal, how much does it cost, and can you do just that or do you need a pc, and does it make any more power by itself. thank u

How 'bout a little more of an introduction?

And you gotta give us a little more than that to help. Do you mean something like this:

Yeah, I jumped sandman's arse for his first post here as well (see below).

"looking for a deal on a used full exhaust for an 03 busa. lemme know what ya got?"

I later apologized because he hasn't acclimated himself with the Org. just yet and had to let him know most members really go out of our way for each other here. And yes, I told him an introduction is typically in order.

Simple answer is no! There's very little stock about that bike and definitely nothing stock in terms of performance. That's a turbo bike. Makes anywhere from around 220 to 700 hp, you choose depending on funds. It does cost quite a chunk of change.

i thought that was a turbo just checking.by the way im thinking of getting yosh slipons i hear different opions do i need to adjust anything p.c. etc. or can i just put them on, i just want some sound. thanks again

Hey JR, welcome. Try using the SEARCH option located at the upper right. Search with terms like "slip" or "bolt on" or "exhaust", etc. You'll get loads of opinionated information.

Most slip-ons require no adjustment to the bike... For the most part thats why there called "Slip-ons". But if at any point in the future of your ride you might be looking to improve the performance I would recommend you don't buy slip-ons and purchase a full system up front. Now, the full system will require some additional goodies, but the pay out will be 7-10 HP over stock!

Not only that, but for the $$ that you spend on bolt-ons you could add a little more and get a full system.
