Exporting Motorcycles from Canada to Resell in Europe

Some people in Europe import motorcycles from Canada using containers and then resell them in Europe.

However, when browsing Canadian used motorcycle websites, the prices don't seem significantly better than those in Europe.

So, how are these people importing used motorcycles from Canada and making a profit?

Are there any other countries or regions that are great for sourcing motorcycles and reselling them in Europe?

Get around emissions controls? Models that aren't sold in Europe but desired? I know the Yamaha T7 is made in two plants, one in France and one in Japan. The Japanese made ones go south (here) and East. the French ones are for Europe. Down here we have used cars brought in by container "Grey imports" we call them. If the model of car isn't sold here by dealers they are allowed in and can be quite cheap if coming from places like Japan.

Probably stolen......there's a huge vehicle theft ring operating in Canada......just recently the police and customs have seized over 200 vehicles in seacans ready for shipment overseas....
