I am 900 miles away from needing to have an extended warranty.

Can anyone suggest someone with adequate price for 3 years, etc?

Standard Suzuki 3 year exended warranty - $350. Chenango Import Motors, Yorkville NY,
1-800-346-4246. Ask for Dianne. Have VIN and credit card handy.

I went to my dealer and he did it for the same price $350.just ask your dealer he should do it for the same price goood luck

Bad news.... I just got off the phone with Diane (she helped me purchase a YES Contract for my R1) and she says GECC is cracking down. The dealer you purchase the warranty from must now see the bike! (Not a problem if you live in Central NY.) There is no way around it. She suggests going to your local dealer and asking them to honor the $350 + $28 sales tax deal that Chenango Import Motors Inc. offers.

Good Luck - I'm gonna call my local dealers to give it a try.

Well, called one of the locals - they want more than $350.

ANYBODY IN THE ST LOUIS, MO AREA WANT TO GIVE ME THE SAME (or similiar) DEAL AS CHENANGO? I only have until June 15th to close this deal.

If so, please send correspondence to babohann@us.ibm.com

Get this.

Been shopping around for ext warranty here in Atlanta. One d-ship said 499 for 3 years, the other 700 for 4 years. He was actually serious about 700, then had the nerve to tell me it would double if bike was out of warranty when extended contract was set up. What is with this warrranty situation.

I got this thing from suzuki the other day about extended protection, I'll have to find it, if wortha crap I'll post it...

I found the brochure and talked to my dealer, $450 3 years...said beware of bogus one nite stand "warranty companies".

Performance Powersports, Duluth, Ga.

Ted Cobb is da salesdude.

I was told about $500 for extended warranty in the Valley,Santa Clara, must be the DOT.com companies jacking up the prices for everything around here.

GECC= General Electric Capital Corporation.GE is worth $500 billion in market capitalization. It will still be here tomorrow. That is why it is the wise choice.Am I right JC?

Actually that are the company Suzuki has do all their extended warranty they been doing it for over 12 years.
Unlike Kawasaki and Yamaha theirs are in house it is the factory you deal with.
This is paperpushers so they do not question so much.
Also the pay the dealer retail for the parts and 10% more labor so It works all the way around.
Did you go to the TX shoot out?
But you are right they will be here tomorrow and the next day.

JC. You are right about pushing paper for Suzuki.GECC is a div.of General Electric. They also do financing for Suzuki. When I bought my 'Busa they had a program through Suzuki for online financing. With my credit approval they made the first pmt. on my bike ,after which I promptly payed off the loan. That was the only way that I was able to get the thing below sticker in this town... Did not make it to the TX shootout because I was out of town.Really want to got to the next one though.BTW I work for GE.
