Extending Chain

Have just bought 4" extensions and will need a longer chain. Is it safe to just add a section of links (now I'll have two master links) or do I need to buy another chain that is long enough (more expense route)?

Opinions?

as long as you don't have more than 210hp you will be fine. just make sure you either have a rivet link or if a clip link that it is locked and check it before

Thanks JC. I'm real close at 212 hp. Think I'll go with the new chain and one master link. Don't want to end up with a broken chain destroying me or the bike.
