Extreme Exhaust Mod

I am very inerrested in finding a web site or shop in S. CA to do a mod I saw on a bike but could not ask where it was done.

It basically chopped the exhaust completely off and stuck it out right in front of the drivers peg, but slightly lower. So there is no tailpipes at all.

If anyone has any thought on this please reply.

I currently am running mine with just headers. (Thanks Stunnah)

Real loud... almost too loud for me.. and that is just not right because I like loud and beefy.

Backfire issues also. I am thinking I am going to put my pipes back on until I do the following

1) Get a PCIIIr
2) Do the pair valve mod
3) Do the airbox mod.

The take the pipes off and take it down to a tuner and have them tune it with the PCIIIr

I seem to have notice a lack of low RPM power also since I have removed my pipes.

Johnny - in reference to my above mentioned plan. Do you think it is possible to get it tuned with the PCIIIr, pairvalve mod and the airbox mod running only headers and have it run good? or is running with just headers and no pipe just a losing battle?

I really like the look of no pipes. But as I said, I notice a loss of low end power and I am afraid to run this thing around town for fear of getting pulled over by every officer that can hear me within 5 miles

with that set up you could use the pc3usb and map all four seperate from the rest, but no timing and you will need that with no cans. so PC3R unless you have a 99-01

it is a shame someone couldn't make mini cans for the busa that could go under the fairings somewhere just to make it not so loud. I know buel has an undermount can, but it is way to big to use on the busa. I love the look of no pipes, just hate the loud sound.

I would like to see an under seat Dual/Duplex BigBirds.

NOW THAT WOULD BE AN EXHAUST SYSTEM.
