Ez pass mounting?

Me and my buddy are taking a long trip and we were wondering were is a good spot to mount the EZ Pass transponder, you know the white puck you usally mount on the inside of you car's winshield which lets you go throught tolls with out having to stop and pay. I realize the obvious spot is the inside of the wind screen. But there can be stolen if you leave the Busa unattended. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

velcro under one of the platics that are right under your grips? first place that came to mind... that way its outta sight!

Paint it black, then mount it on the little triangle area of plastic near the front of the wind screen...you know just above the gauge cluster. A dark wind screen would be a bonus for shielding it out of sight.

I have one for the parking at work. I dunno if it can 'see' it under the plastic. If I were taking a long trip such as you and had a tank bag, I'd just stick it in the window on top. If the machine can read it through the plastics, then that'd be great until you wanted to use it in the car. I have a tethered strap like thing that my ID badge is on, so I stuck it to that. Then I just pull it out of my pocket when I need it, and slip it back in there before I get to speed.

Put it on your helmet

I just stick the ezpass in the pocket on the front of my jacket. Seems to work fine for me. I have also wore it in my arm sleeve of my jacket.

In Maryland there are two different EZ Passes. One for cars and one for motorcycles.

I got this huge bill in the mail for not using my EZ Pass. I was like WTF!?!?!

I spent alot of time on the phone and then someone finally told me the ones on cars don't work on motorcycles. I had been using the one from my car, but it wasn't registering.

I couldn't get a technical answer as to how it could tell one way or the other, but just thought I would throw that out there.

I got a little triple tree bag with straps and a zipper. My transponder fits perfect. I strap it to my left mirror when I use the pass on he bike... I can snap a pic if you like...
