He is a good guy, been helping us with the race bike for several years now. He will have his dyno up and running (don't think he charges for the run, well not me any way).

Don't try and compare Factory with DynoJet dyno's (if you add about 20hp then you will be close to the DynoJet numbers that you hear on this list).

They do have a yosh box, but may charge you to tune it up. Paul, the guy who runs the dyno is great at this. We made an additional 9hp from 10k rpm and up after he tuned a bit (GSXR750 SuperSport bike).

Well there soon be some relief for some of those shifting gremlins out there, and we can thank Marc from Factory Pro (dynos and engine parts people). The engineers at Factory Pro have recieved a stock Hayabusa shift cam follower and shift spring, so they can do their best to produce a kit for the Hayabusa. The stock parts are a far cry from the fine rollerbearing follower and heavy duty spring that will become yet another Factory Pro Shift Kit.

If you go to the Brainerd races stop in and speak with Marc and his crew and tell him that the kit is needed ASAP.

Install notes:
Installation requires countershaft sprocket removal. Impact wrench recommended
8mm box wrench and socket set Most newer 12 point 8mm wrenches are thin enough to work in these close quarters.
Does not require case splitting.
Estimated shop time: 1.0 to 2.5 hours
Suggest to do when replacing chain and sprockets.

Remove the countershaft sprocket.
Loosen every bolt on the shifter cover.
Remove every bolt that you can get to.
There will be one or two bolts that the frame will be in the way.
Don't have to grind the frame......
Reach back, behind the cover and there will be one or twp small alignment dowels that are still stuck in the engine case. The height of the dowels is why you can't remove the cover (with the screw still installed)
Use needle nose pliers or "your choice of tools" to lift them out towards you.
Then, screws will have enough clearance to slide sideways, with the cover - and you can get to the STAR and Detent Arm.

It's possible that some individual frames may be bent and welded very slightly differently, but we haven't seen one, yet. (but it doesn't mean that they don't exist!)
.............
If you have a question, call 415 472-4962 and ask the shop guys -

Thanks -

Marc
