and yes we ALL hate taxes however we are paying less. IMHO I would like to see our Government truly KILL all waste and fraud. That should be something all can agree on, you would think.

I also think everyone should have to pay some tax. Even if it's a minimum of $50 a year. I think it's important that no one be left out of the system. I'm working with a guy who has 11 kids and pays no taxes although he makes good money. I don't think he should have no tax liability because he chose to have a flock instead of a family.

Not sure why a flat tax has not happen yet. I am a liberal and all for it.

why?

because most of the country pays very little in taxes.....so a flat tax across all income levels would lower the amount of revenue coming in.

why?

because 33% of all income taxes are paid by only the richest 1-2% of the people. the people complaining the loudest are paying very little to keep this country afloat.

Look at Oprah...spent millions helping the most Progressive Entiltement
President ever get elected, then actually pays someone to monitor how much
time she spends in her Kalifornia residency, so she can get out in time to NOT
claim being a resident of Kalifornia and NOT pay State tax...yeah I know it's STATE
tax..but that's not the point....be charitable and have a butt load of entiltlement
programs...just not with MY MONEY.

Although I think it's pathetically hypocritical...I also don't agree with overtaxing
the rich just because they make more. THEY EARNED IT...it doesn't make it less
their money and more than your money is your money.

Flat tax or fair tax...eithe would be better and fairer than what we have...
and stick the V.A.T. tax AND THE HEALTHCARE :bs: TAX.

I am middle class and I payed about $4000 federal in this year, doesn't seem all that fair to me.

your children have free education(if you have them)
you are protected from invasion by the greatest military in the wold.....

you have roads to drive on, federal org.s that protect your food, medial services even your that your car is safe....

First of all you have to get past the concept that something is FREE.
NOTHING is FREE and everything cost someone something.

and what's not fair is they take your money and waste it
what's not fair is they spend it regardless of how loud you tell them
you don't want they are spending it on (hence the tea party)
What's not fair is they take your money and give it to the worthless who have
never hit a lick in their life and contribute NOTHING to society.

BTW-much of the highly touted "free" education is fairly crappy.
You want better education tomorrow, abolish the teachers union today.
