Above are the names of the riders (and sponsors) that are the fastest
“sit-onâ€￾ riders in the world – no streamliners. Includes ¼ mile, ½ mile,
1 mile , 1.3 mile, 1.5 mile and Bonneville. Dirt, snow, salt and pavement.

Maybe arbitrary, but I made the lower cut-off at 240.000 MPH.
with 30 something names on the list (and the first over 250.MPH
some 20 years ago) this seemed like a good starting point.

Not sure about some of the designations, but Bill Warner set his records a top a Busa. Obviously his body work was custom on the 311 ride.
