OK, I am one of those guys that has a almost stock Busa. But have been sick of looking at my air brake on the back of my bike. Yes, I have taken reflectors off, have bike lowered half an inch (I am short and had trouble reaching the ground) (ok, stop laughing at me!!!). I have cf Mirrors and touring smoked shield. Put some rubber washers under tank to reduce the 4,000 rpm vibration. Got tank bra.
And now I have:
Clear alternative integrated tail light. Warning about installing one of these, the instructions stink. Take tail light off with 2 screws. Take bulbs out. Use pliers and spin one of the tail light connectors out of assembly and get it out of the way in the back. Get a coat hanger and bend straight. take bolts off the back of tour tail lights and snip the wires. Put coat hanger through the exsisting hole and take hump off and find the other end of coat hanger. Tape the wore to coat hanger and pull through. then feed wire through the hole where the bulb use to be. Hook solid black wires to the yellow wires and put the wire that connects to one of the old bulb connectors and make sure the thing works and put back together. I am not the best mechanic in the world by any means, but wanted to share because I spent an hour trying to figgure out where to pull the dang turn signal wires through and was ready to take the whole back of the rear fairing apart. It does not look as thought the exsisting hole where the wire come through have any opening under the hump.
Sorry My pics stink, took with phone. Did not cut air brake yet, my dremmel broke after cutting about an inch of plastic
. Have to get new one and finish tomorrow night.
