FI Light??

About a month or so ago. I had the bike apart cleaning some plastic, getting it ready for paint and went ahead and did the TRE and Pair valve mods. I also had the battery disconnected (May be a cause). But now my FI light is permently on. Has anyone had this issue before. Just for reference I do not have a power commander or aftermarket exhaust.

Well, when I was changing my spark plugs I went and took off the TRE and what do ya know, mt FI light went out when I strarted the bike. I know it wasn't the spark plugs because I disconnected the TRE first and then started it...I left it off for now and to be honest I can't really tell any difference. Should I have?

May have had a bad TRE...The bike does not come with one it's an aftermarket piece...I took mine off along time ago and it's now doing all that's it's good for collecting dust...
