Thanks ROADTOAD, The Yoshi exhaust has this great deep growl that everyone seems to love, Both BMW's are great handling bikes with very nice fit and finish, however the Busa keep up with them on the Skyway with out any issues and surprised me by being more agile and i though i would be, I was pleasantly surprised .Awesome pics there bro , man that pipe looks wild , and the best color for Gen 3 , imho . Looks like you are riding with a couple of likely lads there bro ... that BMW looks to be v fast , and the other bike looks like it will turn pretty good too . Great to be out with fellow bike loving folk , just carving it up a bit .
No roll-ons yet Bumblebee, having too much fun corner carving thru the mountains right now, but I'm sure its coming ....lolBike looks great and the weather looks just as great..
Did you do some roll-ons against the other bikes?
Enjoying it is 100% of the fun anyway.....I take it you were able to sort out all the settings? No roll-ons yet Bumblebee, having too much fun corner carving thru the mountains right now, but I'm sure its coming ....lol
The settings are very easy to use once i got accustomed to them, have not used the hill assist feature, I've never needed it before, but i'm sure ill try it as a novelty to see how it worksEnjoying it is 100% of the fun anyway.....I take it you were able to sort out all the settings?
I like the Moore Mafia videos but his bike is going to be very specifically set up for one purpose whereas guys such as yourself are out on the streets getting it done...
I'm smitten for sure, she gets a lot of thumbs up and positive commentsThe more I look at the Gen 3, the more it has become the best looking generation, especially with those big 'ol exhaust cans off it....
The bike has really sharp lines and everything flows....it looks like a Hayabusa still but much better-IMO
Now when I look at mine, it really looks outdated.
Nice pictures. With the exhaust do you see the need for remapping the ECU or it's adapted well with the standard setupTaking in the sites and enjoying the local roads

Exactly what I was thinking .... sharp as look to it now , love it !! I heard , you can adapt Gen 3 bodywork across to Gen 2 , including any brackets etc. needed .The gen 3 is so much better looking than the gen 2 it's almost a sin....
I get to wonder if it would be that simple...there might be more tabs welded on the frame for different attach points...Exactly what I was thinking .... sharp as look to it now , love it !! I heard , you can adapt Gen 3 bodywork across to Gen 2 , including any brackets etc. needed .
The frame is essentially the exact same , the subframe is different though , aluminum , and that will be more difficult to fit the same tail section to Gen 2 , so get the Gen 3 subframe . I would be confident , you could use a Gen 3 top fairing / headlight carrier bracket , and the rest of frame should be close . Of course there is a chance some extra work and messing around may be necessary .I get to wonder if it would be that simple...there might be more tabs welded on the frame for different attach points...
The only wonder I have is the side panels beside the tank, they are now fastened down with a bolt..is the frame itself drilled and tapped to accept this bolt or is there a bracket with a plate? The frame is essentially the exact same , the subframe is different though , aluminum , and that will be more difficult to fit the same tail section to Gen 2 , so get the Gen 3 subframe .
