well after getting the 02 busa last sept and going down hard in the twisties in oct, 3 surgeries and still cant lift my left arm over my head im back on my baby and im getting her back together and the best part of going down is putting poop back together and upgrading! first i have some questions. i got my busa with about 4k miles from a guy who got the bike from his brother who owned a bike shop. it appeared to be stock BUT.... i raced no less than 5 busas with little or no mods and pulled about 5 bikes by the end of 2nd!. ive checked it out and nothing appears to be modded so any ideas would be great. im still buying plastics so if anyone has a right fairing i need one. it will be custom painted so color and scuffing doesnt matter. i just got the hmf dual high mount and it is serious. and now ive got the pair mod and a power commander and its just stupid. i dont see how you guys turbo these things cause i spin the back tire now. i love this thing and my local dealer told me that suzuki is coming out with a 1500cc 200hp busa within 2 years. this guys brother works for suzuki r & d and i guess he gets the low down. i cant wait for that witch! stay vertical! peace

big bore is what i thought first but is there a way i can tell besides dyno. usually you could see the bolts and such would have marks but you never know. im going to run the 1/4 for the ffirst time next week with a friend of mine that runs low 10's on his 02 954 and i walk his ass so bad its ridiculous before my mods and now....

Sup bro, glad you're back to business. One question, what kind of physical/occupational therapy are you getting? I'd be concerned about getting range of motion back in that shoulder. Be blessed and again welcome back. Good info on that potential new Busa, hopefully it will use some of the same OEM parts so I can switch out the chrome.

well as far as pt ill be pretty much back to normal eventually and ive progressed alot since when i highsided i landed on the back of my shoulder at about 120 and dislocated it and then while i was sliding i grabed a manhole cover in the dirt and almost ripped off my arm so i consider myself lucky with 2 nylon straps and 6 screws. lateral movement is the slowest to regain and its really bothering me but all will be well!

True shoulder abduction and external rotation are easiest to lose and hardest to regain. You don't want to develop "adhesive capsulitis" better known as frozen shoulder. Keep it moving bro in all planes.
