You guys finally did it. You convinced me to go out and get myself a 'Busa.
Two weeks ago I went around to all the local dealers and jumped on what I thought was my dream bike....a gorgeous red 996 Duc. It took about 2 minutes sitting on the seat in the showroom to realize my racing days were over and that I needed to find something with a little more civilized riding position but one that would still make my hair stand on end everytime I got on it.
If I still lived in the mountains in the Carolina's I may have gone for the Duc but with all the boring, straight roads here in Florida - the Busa is the right choice.
It fit my body perfectly and looked like nothing else on the street (except other Busas of course)...so I did the next logical step - get on the internet and see what real people have to say about it.
Needless to say you convinced me and I'm heading out this weekend to pick mine up - a red one (matches all my existing leathers).
