You can also drop the pressure in that rear to about 5 PSI and ride around the block

Nice tire, getting ready to install one myself...

Thats purdy, just be careful on that slick tire till you get some miles on it. Dont ask me how I know.

Hey, just rid with us at the next get together in Eureka Springs AR and you will not have ANY chicken strips on those Avons! BTW I love mine.

I got my new Avon Storm (200/50/17) installed today too! They sure are nice when they're brand new but I also was riding on eggshells on the way home as I have heard too many stories of bikes laying down on brand new tires!

You must have done alot of lefts and rights, the wear is nice and even all around.
Looks good, have fun and ride safe.

Takes me about 5 miles (the length of Missouri ZZ highway, 2 rights and 2 lefts) to scrub a pair from edge to edge.
Slick new tires are a myth along the lines of "that front brake will get you killed".
Looking forward to the Eureka MnG with you too Semperfi. Hope I don't get sick, it rains, or some other unforeseen catastrophy before then. I've had to miss 3 MnGs since I've had my Busa, hoping for a little luck this time.

Guess that's one way of getting rid of them pesky chicken strips. Thought I was gonna have to offer you up some Bull's-Eye BBQ sauce, that's how my daughter likes 'em. :poke:

NO FAIR! You've had James to bring you up through the process.... Maybe one of these days...??? :beerchug:

Seriously, nice looking meat(s)! You guys have a good ride next weekend (right?). It's a little far out as far as weather but it do look like it's gonna be a good 'un!
