Ok so please dont get a homie voodoo doll out and start sticking pins in it cause I went to the Ninja but I wanted to share my excitement. I sent off my ecu to Moore Mafia about 2 months ago and got it flashed knowing full well that I would be committing myself to getting a new exhaust system. So I finally ordered my exhaust from Brock on Monday. I got the alien head 2 with the pc5 and maps along with the switch so I can go between 2 maps, and I got the sprint race air filter. Everything in total was about $2500. I should get the stuff from Brock Tomorrow. Which would work out great because the wife is at work all day and I can slip it in the garage and she will never know I got it.... Install doesn't look very hard to do. Im looking forward to taking it out once its done. I know its gonna make a huge difference in performance. Dollar for dollar this is the best money for the most horse power I think I can get. I have no plans on cracking open the motor so this will be the end of the performance ladder for me on this bike.

I’ve been happy with my Brock’s and Moore Mafia mods.

No voodoo pins from me, I’ve had two ZX11’s and loved them. I considered the ZX14 when shopping for my 22 Busa but the factory cruise was the deciding factor and I wanted to own a Busa because of the legacy.

If you have an ECU flash from MooreMafia, what are your plans for the PC maps? P.S…what took you so long to mod it…
the maps I am using come from Brock Davidson. I will store 2 on the pc5 and switch back and forth between them. One is a street map on 89 pump and the other is what he calls the aggressive street and track map with 89 pump. I wish I could have done it sooner...lol had a bathroom remodel etc. Finally got it so I could get it. I wanted to start taking it to the 1/4 mile track this year but I dont think I will be able to . Still several things to buy to make that work. But in the meantime Im gonna really enjoy how nasty its gonna be...lolol

a work of beauty....you can see right through that race filter which kills me...lol. and it still filters out anything coming in. ! thats a lot of extra air flow. Never need another one. just blow it out and stick it back in. Really nice welds on the pipes. Top quality work.

Hi mate parts look good I could be wrong but I remember reading one of your old post saying you weren't to impressed with the sprint air filter due to it letting in to much dirt ?

yes thats true. it was a sprint filter for the 06 hayabusa I had. the problem with it for me was not how it performed but because of the way the filter sits in the airbox on the gen 1 all the debris. bugs etc collected around the base of the filter so when you pulled it out it was really hard to keep the bugs, etc from falling into the intake. it stopped everything but unlike the stock filter with that filter it didnt stick to it but just fell down..... if that makes any sense. the ninja is designed differently so in this case nothing can go in the intake.

And btw. You have a hell of a memory if you remember that post so long ago. Hell I didnt remember it and I wrote it.....of course I did get a TBI in a crash so it might have erased that part. Weird I still remember my exwife. lololol

finally got it all installed. The exhaust replacement wasn't so bad but putting that damn power commander on it was a real bitch. Ive never done anything like that before and the instructions, which were from dyno jet were not all that great for someone who has no idea what to look for. That said I got to take it out for a short ride and its damn scary! The sound is almost like my 06 busa but this is a little bit louder at idle and is has a bit more growl to it. I didnt get any red lights, engine lights or whatever so I guess its all good! lol

I was wondering the same thing because usually moore does the equivalent of a pc5 map your ecu when flashed. My buddy just got his back for his gixxer 1k and it is just stupid now. Almost had me to the point of wanting to send mine in but then I came across a post on fb taking about how got a guy's bike is running after the flash and made me realize I'll just wait till I put the dyno back together in the garage and start learning how to do it myself so I know it's right for my specific bike.

yea you know Im not really very up on how all that stuff works but all I know is that Moore did the reflash which did all the basic stuff a flash does and as I understand it he did whatever is needed for the ecu to pair up with the alien head 2 with a pc5 and brocks maps so beyond that Im kinda lost so I just went with the Brock has it all set up. I didnt really get a chance to get it out yet. just a short ride so I will find out more tomorrow. supposed to be a really nice day here.
