Finally got it home...

After a month of waiting for the roads to clear, I brought my '06 'busa home. Temp was in the low 40s all weekend but I rode both days. Then last night I was looking at my registration and realized that the dealer had given me someone else's plate javascript:emoticon('

Of course they were closed today. Good thing I took it easy. That would be hard to explain to the police...ride it like you stole it and have the wrong plate to boot!

Stickers are off. Reflectors next. Sliders on the way. Going to the dealer today to straighten out the registration. It's 25 degrees this morning...Alaska sucks sometimes...

Finally got a chance to ride some distance. Here's a shot from just outside town. We're surrounded by scenery like this. I do love it here but the summers are too short.

I've removed the reflectors and cut off the mud flap. I'm staying with the stock turn signals for now. Just cutting the flap makes a world of difference.

Man, it's hard keeping this thing below 90
